I am Jason, my Chinese name is C.H. Feng. I am an Assistant Expedition Leader on MS Maud at Hurtigruten. My job is to assist the Expedition Leader in executing every expedition effectively.

My adult life is quite unique and different from the ordinary. I didn’t enjoy studying at school, so my parents often took me to the mountains. For me, the mountains are where I learned everything. They not only provided education but also played an essential role in my life. Since graduating from university, I have traveled around the world to explore the vast oceans and towering mountains.

Countless memories were made during my visits to Antarctica, the Arctic Pole, Norway, and Scotland… The breathtaking moment of witnessing whales hunting is beyond words. You must see it for yourself to experience the beauty of this world.

I cherish the moment when I wake up; I always look forward to it because I have a lot to accomplish.

I aspire to become a pioneer like Amundsen, a true explorer.

Going to your workplace everyday might not be as exciting as it was, but for the Expedition Team members on MS Maud, their “everyday work” is what we’ll dream of. Check out this video about the Mandarin-speaking EXP team members you’ll meet on your sailing to Arctic Circle, Antarctica, British Isles, North West Passage or Galapagos!

My latest mini-doc films are finally released on MET POLICE’s official YouTube Channel. It’s a journey that broadens my work visions and expands my abilities in filming, editing and post-production.

Policing is full of challenges. It is important to find out a bridge to communicate, to help break down barriers inside and outside the organisation and to celebrate differences and embrace individuality.

Thanks all the colleagues who support this project along the way for almost 9 months! It’s great to show the diversity and humane side of these honourable police officers.

‘Now, more than ever, become a Police Officer in the Met Police.’
